ESMAG Tree Planting at Crandon Park on Feb.12th:

Two hundred green Buttonwood trees will be planted. You may dedicate trees: $10/one tree and/or $18/two trees. Great volunteer and fun opportunity on that day. Community Service hours opportunity for students.
Diane Landsberg reminded members of the following opportunities to volunteer and participate:
- February 5th - Rotaract Conference - Wolfson Campus - MDC- volunteers are requested from 9.30 - 3pm. Please sign up.
- February 11th - Pinning at FIU of TMB Recipients - Acknowledgement of students who received scholarships.

Barbara Gobbi is owner of a strategic marketing company – working in Social media and business life;
Barbara engaged her audience by giving helpful Tips on a guide to the use and importance of using social media in business. Social media can be a good tool for clubs such as Rotary or for friends - but is especially effective when used properly in business. This was a most useful and informative presentation where there were many questions following which everyone benefited from.
Pres Noreen thanked her for speaking and presented her with a Certificate of Appreciation plus the Club will plant a tree in her honor on the next tree planting.

Pres. Noreen - for her family recovering from Covid and glad that she didn’t get it. Robin Shelley for Barbara Gobbi being on the Governor's team and future Governorship. Shirley Pardon - for finally recovering from Covid after 2 -1/2 weeks. Jay Almeida - for also getting over Covid. Tina Moore - for being alive and here in Miami in person. Diane Landsberg - for being thankful for all Rotarians. Brian Tschirhart - for Barbara's presentation; Barbara Gobbi - for being at the Rotary Club of Miami. Carlos Taboada - for being the newest member of Rotary. Marcia Brod - for a Happy New Year.
